The Swiss Family Card allows children under 16 to travel free
when accompanied by a parent. It's valid when traveling on
a Swiss Pass, Swiss Flexipass or Swiss Card. Probably the
best part of all about the Swiss Family Card is that it is
free! Just request it when you purchase your Swiss Card from
Rail Europe.

Children who travel with a parent and are under 16 years of
age are free. Children not traveling with a parent who are
6-15 years of age; 50% discount off 2nd class, 40% off 1st
class. Children under 6 years of age are free. Please read
